Attention Readers:

After a history of hard hits (physical), the writer of TheSouthernBlog.com is forced to an indefinite time out on the sidelines to recuperate. In the meantime, please use this site as a resource that has accurately predicted our future, through documentation, despite the efforts of the last two administrations, Republican and Democrat – especially the State Department and now Homeland Security.

Visit the NAFTA page on TheSigintReport.com, where government documents reveal and connect their (active) plans for the integration of North America, the Americas and a world put together and run by trade agreements and global governance (UN) for international matters of concern, followed by regional governance. All of this, of course, is already under construction and verified, a world where everyone is destined for civil registration and biometric ID cards. The Americas, for example, are working on civil registration to be completed by 2015. All inhabitants of the Americas will have their names and data on interconnected databases. The European Union has such a system working and still developing.

Did anyone mention Democracy?  Our marching orders will come from above. You are being prepared. As George H.W. Bush has said in many speeches, there will be a new world order.

During my time away, articles of interest to my readers will still be published occasionally.

Thank you for your continued support.

Welcome. The Southern Blog is my opportunity to share with others some of the unusual places and events that few have experienced.

For example: On February 13, 1987, I stood in the warm sun on a tiny, nearly deserted island, some 2,000 miles southwest of Honolulu. Next to the bed in my trailer were the remains of two damaged Peacekeeper MX (unarmed) nuclear warheads. And just hours later, two reinforcements arrived by chopper with the news that a Russian recon security team (Spetsnaz) was coming ashore that night. For more, read the journal “Almost Paradise,” as it develops on this site.

Siam is a record of my observations and experiences in Northeast Thailand from 1972 -74 as a member of the 6908th Security Squadron, an intelligence gathering unit for the National Security Agency. Our “platform” (mission) was to keep track of enemy activity on the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Laos during the last years (1972-75) of the Vietnam War.

“Kampuchea, Year Zero” is my interview of a young Cambodian girl who survived nearly 4 years of Pol Pot, communist leader of the Khmer Rouge. The brutal victors abolished money, drove the people out of the cities and made them work on farms until they died or were killed for failing to maintain production.

“Deep South” is about the observations of a young white boy living at the entrance to the poorest ghetto in Black America. That would be Macon, Georgia just before the Korean War.

“Florida’s Other History” covers the overlooked, sometimes unusual history of the Sunshine State. The articles will feature photos (in most articles) and information for visitors where applicable. Stories include “Florida’s Communist Tree,” “The Barefoot Mailmen of Southeast Florida,” and “Black Point: NASA’s Wild Kingdom.”

The first four projects will be developed over time so earlier chapters can be accessed by clicking on “previous entries.”
