Classic Rock is judged by its album success over time and usually the artist has a certain hit that is recognized universally. Some artists may have more than one signature song, a song that, when the listener hears it for the first time or 40 years later, stops and becomes one with the song. Old memories or new thoughts flow with the song. In a world in rapid decay, the listener moves with the words. These are some of my favorites that stand the test of time.

Robert Plant – Big Log
Gerry Rafferty – Baker Street
Pink Floyd – The Dark Side Of The Moon

The Rolling Stones – Miss You
The Who – Love Reign O’er Me
George Harrison & Eric Clapton – While My Guitar Gently Weeps
