Humans failed to manage planet Earth compared to Non-Humans

635779203048522986-AP-VANISHING-ICEScientists who have studied climate change for 40 years have found that planet earth is in great danger since humans have been reckless with the earth, destroying it, especially the former ice covered Arctic Ocean. The humans had a policy of slash and burn where ever they went. Corporations (CEOs) have been careless with the earth.

arctic-blog480Humans have taken over the Arctic waters, while drilling for oil and in the process releasing large numbers of CO2 and Methane gas in large numbers. This reckless behavior by humans has now placed all living creatures on earth in danger of extinction. The plan had experts create an engineering system that would reconstruct their plan for a safe underwater mining operation. Now it appears that the earth and all creatures on it are in a dire situation.  The term is out of luck.

Prior to “…the Permian mass extinction that occurred 250 million years ago, also known as the ‘Great Dying,” was triggered  by a massive lava flow in an area of Siberia that led to an increase in global temperatures of 6 degrees Celsius. That, in turn, caused the melting of frozen methane deposits under the seas. Released into the atmosphere, those gases caused temperatures to skyrocket further.

“The change in climate is thought to be the key to what caused extinction of most species on the planet. In that episode, it is estimated that 95 percent of all species were wiped out.”

That is the same reason that humans are following the same path as the Permian mass extinction, only this time everyone and everything on earth will perish.

“Recent examples include the June 19, 2015, paper in Science Advances…: We are in the midst of the sixth great extinction. According to the abstract, the ” sixth mass extinction is already under way.” The lead author, in an interview, said, “life would take many millions of years to recover, and our species itself would likely disappear early on.”

NEXT: The whole planet.

We, as humans, have never been here before:

Guy McPherson, professor emeritus of evolutionary biology, natural resources, and ecology at the University of Arizona and a climate change expert of 25 years…noted:

“We’ve never been on a planet with no Arctic ice, and we will hit the average of 400 ppm…within the next couple of years. At that time, we’ll also see the loss of Arctic ice in the summers…This planet has not experienced an ice-free Arctic for at least the last three million years.”

“Professor Peter Wadhams, a leading Arctic expert at Cambridge University, has been measuring Arctic ice for 40 years, and his findings underscore McPherson’s fears. (Without ice, global temperatures will climb-a lot.)

According to Wadhams, “The fall-off in ice volume is so fast it is going to bring us to zero very quickly.”

Professor Wadhams said “with 95% confidence” that the Arctic will have completely  ice-free summers by 2018. (U.S. Navy predicts ice-free Arctic by 2016).
